About Us

At Complete Psychiatric Care, we believe mental health care should be personal, compassionate, and centered around the whole person—not just a diagnosis. Casey Goss, APRN, PMHNP-BC brings more than a decade of experience caring for children, adults, and families, with a special heart for neurodivergent individuals, special needs families, military families, and veterans. We believe in respecting each person’s autonomy, listening to their goals, and working together to find the approach to care that feels right for each patient. We are committed to making quality mental health care accessible, personal, and close to home.

Our Mission & Clinical Philosophy

Mental Health Care With Heart, Experience, and Purpose

A person is never just a diagnosis. They have a story, a family, strengths, challenges, hopes, and goals. Our approach to psychiatric care is centered around understanding the whole picture and working together to find a path toward feeling better.

Casey is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing care for children, teens, and adults age 6 and up. Casey's career in healthcare began over a decade ago in pediatric emergency nursing, where he practiced remaining calm, compassionate, and attentive when children and families had difficult moments. It was then he developed a passion for mental health cases in the ED, and it wasn't long until he transitioned fully into psych nursing. He spent several years working in inpatient crisis stabilization with both children and adults, followed by experience in in patient hospital acute care settings, community mental health,  and outpatient psychiatric care in Nassau county.

A Whole-Person Approach

Casey has a strong heart for holistic healing. That means looking beyond a diagnosis or a prescription and considering the many things that influence mental and emotional health.

Sleep, relationships, family, school, work, stress, physical health, environment, life experiences, and emotional well-being can all play a role in how a person feels and functions. Medication can be an important part of treatment for some people, but it is not for everyone nor is it the only tool available. When appropriate, Casey encourages incorporating lifestyle changes, therapy, family support, and other resources into a person's overall plan of care in addition to keeping up with the latest scientific advances in psychiatric treatment.

His goal is not simply to ask, “What diagnosis does this person have and what can be prescribed?”

He wants to understand:

“What is this person experiencing, what might be contributing to it, and what can we do to help them live the life they want to live?”

We aren't here to push a diagnosis or medication. We are here to listen, understand what you want for yourself or your child, and offer guidance and recommendations when you want and need them. Your voice matters, and we believe you should have an active role in decisions about your care.

Supporting Neurodivergent Individuals and Families

Our medical practice has a particular appreciation for the unique experiences of children, individuals, and families navigating special needs and neurodiverse needs. Every brain is different, and sometimes the systems around a child aren't designed with those differences in mind. Children may struggle with emotions, attention, anxiety, sensory experiences, social situations, school, or changes in routine in ways that can be difficult for them and others to understand.

We believe children deserve to be understood rather than simply labeled by their challenges.

Part of our mission is to provide a calm and healing space where children, teens and  and parents can feel heard, respected, and supported while working together to understand what is happening and what might help.

Supporting Military Families and Veterans

We have developed a deep respect for military families, service members, and veterans and the unique challenges they often experience. We have learned that military life can bring frequent moves, deployments, separation from loved ones, changes in routine, reintegration, and the challenges of building a sense of stability while serving others. Veterans may carry experiences from their service that continue to affect their lives long after they return home.

These individuals and families have given a great deal in service to others, and we are committed to delivering thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized mental health care. At Complete Psychiatric Care, military families and veterans are welcomed and treated with the respect, patience, and consideration they deserve.

Proud to Serve Nassau County

Nassau County isn't just where Complete Psychiatric Care is located—it is home.

Our family has been a part of the Nassau County community since 2016. We have raised our family here, built relationships here, and experienced firsthand what

makes this area such a special place to call home.

That personal connection is one of the reasons we believe so strongly in providing quality, accessible mental health care right here in our local community.

Too often, families are faced with long waiting lists, large healthcare systems, and the challenge of finding someone who truly has time to listen. Our goal is for Complete Psychiatric Care to offer something different: personalized psychiatric care from someone who is familiar and invested in the community we serve.

A Commitment to Service

Opening Complete Psychiatric Care was always about more than building a practice. It is about service. We believe quality mental health treatment starts with something simple: breaking down the barriers to accessing mental health care.

We believe people in Nassau County, Florida and throughout our local communities should have access to quality mental health care without feeling like they have to navigate a huge system or wait months just to be heard.

When you contact Complete Psychiatric Care, you are not calling a faceless corporation. You are reaching a local, family-operated practice that genuinely cares about the people and families we serve.

Whether you are seeking help for yourself, your child, or someone you love, my hope is that you feel heard, respected, and cared for from the very first conversation.

You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

We're here to help you take the next step.
